- Preheat the oven 180C.
- Grease a 22.5cm x 30cm oven dish
- Mix toghether the eggs, milk and cream.
- Pour over the bread and allow to soak for 10 minutes.
- Pour the bread mixture into the greased dish.
- In a saucepan, melt the butter, brown sugar, syrup and pecans.
- Add the vanilla.
- Cook for 5 minutes or until the sugar is dissolved, then pour over the bread.
- Cover with foil and bake for 30 minutes, then take off the foil and bake for a further 25 minutes.
- Serve with pouring cream.
