Raisin and Cinnamon “Cinabon” Bakes

  1. Lightly grease giant muffin tin(6 hole). Preheat the oven to 180C.
  2. In a bowl mix together the cinamon, sugar and cream cheese utnil smooth and combined.
  3. Using a rolling pin roll out each slice of bread until flat.
  4. Spread each slice with cream cheese mixture.
  5. For each “bun” take 3 slices and layer them overlapping half of each slice.
  6. Slice lengthways, then roll the one piece together.
  7. This has formed the cente of your bun.
  8. Pleace this at the top of your remaining bread and roll up.
  9. Your bun should look like a rose.
  10. Place each rose bun into the muffin tray and bake for 20 – 30 minutes or until lightly golden.

For the icing:

  1. Mix the icing suagr with a few teaspoons of water utnil you have a thick smooth icing.
  2. Spread onto the tops of your buns and decorate with chopped dried apricots.
